A leading figure in the business and associative sectors, Serge Gouteyron was Chairman and CEO of a food wholesaling and franchising company in Denain between 1986 and 2006. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of the Union des Coopérateurs de Flandres et d’Artois in Coudekerque and Lomme from 1984 to 1986.
Very involved in Rotary International, he was Vice President and Director from 2004 to 2006 in Chicago. He is currently Rotary’s extraordinary representative in France for the period 2020-2025 in Paris, and was also the organization’s principal representative to UNESCO, the OECD and the Francophonie between 2010 and 2020.
Serge Gouteyron has played an active role at SOS Villages d’Enfants France as a director since 2006. He has held a number of important positions, including Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee. In addition, he was Chairman of Ferme du Major, a vocational integration association for young adults in Raismes, from 2010 to 2020.
