Biography
Maximilian Rech is Director of the Specialized Master in Supply Chain and Purchasing Management at Skema Business School. He specializes in digital transformation of business models and best practices in digital marketing and supply chain management. Maximilian was previously Academic Director of a business school in China – in Shanghai – and managed the double Master of Science in International Business Management between Europe and China. He specialized in geo-economic policy and macro-economic cooperation within the framework of the New Silk Road project. He was also involved in the Brussels-based think tank “Friends of Europe”, where he set up the “Understanding China” program funded by the European Commission. He was a member of the European Commission’s advisory committee on China. He was also a member of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which focused on European security and defense policy.
