Jan first worked for the Secretariat General of the European Council on Migration and Asylum before moving to the European Commission Directorate General on Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs where (1) he operated in the “European Poverty Program” and (2) coordinated the relations with large Civil Society organizations. On behalf of former President of the European Commission, Jacques Delors, Jan is the co-author with businesses of the European Business Declaration against Social Exclusion launched in 1995. This was the foundational act of CSR Europe.
