Elisabeth Laville is a distinguished business leader and a recognized specialist in CSR. A HEC graduate, she founded Utopies in 1993, a consulting firm specializing in sustainable development for businesses.

She is recognized as one of Europe’s leading experts on sustainable development, received the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2008 and was made a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur the same year.

She is the author of the best-selling book “The Green Company” and several other books. She sits on the Board of Directors of Nature & découvertes, Rabot Dutilleul and several NGOs and foundations (including Unis-Cités and the Tour du Valat Foundation).

Elisabeth Laville is passionate about education, sustainable food, the link between individual and corporate commitment, social entrepreneurship, sustainable innovation and responsible consumption. At the junction of these subjects, she also created in 2004 Graines de Changement – a laboratory of innovative projects which is at the origin of Campus Responsables (the first network of major schools and universities committed to sustainable development in France) and Mes Courses pour la Planète (the observatory of responsible consumption). She is also behind the report “For a sustainable consumption” submitted to the Minister of Ecology in January 2011.
