Biography
Emery JACQUILLAT is a mission-led entrepreneur. He relaunched Camif in 2009, focusing on responsible consumption and Made in France.
Camif embarked on the path of a mission-led company in 2013, and following the work of the Mines researchers, set up its mission committee and defined its mission, which has been written into its articles of association since 2017: “To offer products and services for the home that benefit people and the planet. Mobilize our ecosystem, collaborate and act to invent new models of consumption, production and organization”.
Convinced of the strength of the model, reconciling profit and positive impact on social and environmental issues, he is a founding member of the Community of Companies with a Mission in 2018, a general interest association offering a framework for sharing between managers wanting to make their company more contributory, to enrich and publicize the Company with a Mission, now recognized in the PACTE law. President of the Community of Mission-led Companies, Emery JACQUILLAT believes in the mission-led company as the most powerful lever for transforming society. In 2021, he received the BFM Award for the Raison d’être. He was named Knight of the National Order of Merit. In 2022, he was elected Personality of the Year by the ESSEC Grand Prix for Responsible Business.
