Biography
Philippe Da Costa is a member of the Group Management Committee in charge of public affairs, social commitment and new business lines at AG2R LA MONDIALE. He holds a doctorate in education, is a graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, and is an auditor of the Institut des Hautes Études de la Défense Nationale (IHEDN) and the Institut des Hautes Études de la Protection Sociale (IHEPS).
In 1988, he began his career as Head of Youth and Sports Policy for the Doubs department. In 1990, he was appointed Director of Training, then Commissioner General of the Scouts de France and National Director of the French Red Cross in 2002. During that time, he was also President of the National Committee of Youth and Popular Education Associations (Cnajep) and President of the Permanent Conference of Associative Coordinations (Mouvement associatif) from 1996 to 1998.
In 2011, he joined the Macif Group as Advisor to the Chairman and was appointed Deputy CEO in 2014. Philippe Da Costa has also held numerous mandates in the fields of the economy, education and the environment. He thus chaired the Sustainable Development Commission and the Education, Culture and Communication Section as a member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC) from 2004 to 2015.
In 2018, he became a member of the Executive Committee of AG2R LA MONDIALE. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Group Management Committee in charge of public affairs, societal commitment and new business lines.
Philippe Da Costa is also Secretary of the Bureau of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council and Chairman of the French Red Cross.
