Biography
Formerly number two at Danone (the first company to be commissioned by the CAC 40), Cécile Cabanis has always made financial objectives and ecological transformation coincide within the company. Since 2021, Cécile Cabanis has joined the investment company Tikehau Capital as Deputy Managing Director. She is in charge of the human capital, CSR, communication and marketing functions of the brand.
After graduating from the Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon, Cécile CABANIS began her career in 1995 at L’Oréal in South Africa. She then joined Orange’s mergers and acquisitions department in 2000.
She joined Danone in 2004, where she held key positions in the finance department as Corporate Finance Director, Development Director and then Finance Director for Fresh Products.
She worked for the introduction of ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria in Danone’s credit line, and prompted the issuance of a €300 million social impact bond in 2018.
She won the “Woman of Sustainable Development” award in 2020 at the Trophées des Femmes de l’Industrie organized by “L’Usine Nouvelle”.
