Founder and CEO of Thrive-Community Inc. and Better Business Enterprise (BBE), a consulting firm, Shainoor KHOJA was the CEO of Roshan Community, the CSR arm of Roshan, the leading cell phone operator in Afghanistan for 10 years.

She played a key role in raising hundreds of millions of dollars to implement the company’s CSR program. This award-winning program has spawned nationwide initiatives such as remote medicine, e-learning, mobile money, and real-time agricultural commodity prices for financial inclusion.

Shainoor Khoja has also served as a regional advisor for Mercy Corps and was the coordinator of a crisis program for AKF in Syria around education, food and water security for vulnerable households.

Shainoor Khoja is the recipient of the 2016 Lewis Institute Community Changemaker Award from Babson College.
