French photographer and environmentalist, he has been working for 40 years to promote knowledge and respect of the natural treasures and the human diversity of the planet. Yann Arthus-Bertrand is also a reporter, director and environmentalist.

He is the Chair of the Good Planet Foundation, which he established in 2005. His mission: “to place ecology at the heart of awareness and to encourage the desire to act for the land and its inhabitants in tangible ways.”
