The World Forum for a Responsible Economy: My region relies on the planet, and vice versa

In 2022, the World Forum for a Responsible Economy has reinvented itself, becoming a resources and events cycle over two years. Goal: to impulse real changing behavior among participants.

On October 18th of 2022, a key moment has been proposed in Lille, celebrating the 10th anniversary of rev3 and receiving personalities such as Claire O’Neill, former COP26 president, Alexis Dhellemmes, Avril’s founder, bio cosmetics brand, Octave Klaba, president and founder of OVHcloud, Frédérique Bedos, journalist, director and producer of documentaries, founder of the Imagine project, or Samuel Durand, author of the Work in Progress documentaries and of the newsletter Billet du Futur. More than 2 000 people participated.

In parallel many days in the territories were impulse, in Douai, where, for the 30th birthday, Auddicé organized the 6th edition of the Rencontres Entreprises Territoires Développement Durable (Meetings Companies Territories Sustainable Development). A second key moment in Valenciennes, in October, where the CCI du Grand Hainaut, in partnership with the World Forum, proposed a morning show consecrated to model’s sustainable transformation, punctuated by the involvement of committed managers and entrepreneurs. Finally, a last moment was proposed in Lens on the theme “Detect, support, act: how can companies mobilize around fuel poverty?”. On the second French edition of “National Day Against Fuel Poverty”, industry players proposed a morning of exchanges and work around this topical issue.

A CSR ownership barometer has also been published.

In 2023, the cycle continues

With new days in the territories:

September 14th – Arras | Intermodal, low-carbon, mutually supportive mobility: the players are getting involved!

October 19th – St Omer | Ecological efficiency in the Pays de Saint-Omer: Towards innovative business models

On November 21th and 22th, in partnership with rev3 and Synopia, the World Forum will take place for the first time at la Cité des Échanges in Marcq-en-Barœul. If we really want to invers the actual tendency, the transition will have to be massive, profoundly impactful and universal.

Green transition, fair transition: these will be the themes addressed.
