Adopted by the UN in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a new universal reference framework to involve all stakeholders, organisations and individuals on the implementation of the Agenda 2030 to address the major challenges of our societies. The SDGs are intended to facilitate partnerships on approaches to societal responsibility, like the bi-regional working group set up by the European Union and Latin American and Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC) and moderated by InnovacionAL.
Joined by the Réseau Alliances, this working group aims to encourage and consolidate multi-agency exchanges between the two regions of the world on CSR issues. Among the topics of convergence and common effort, the implementation of Agenda 2030 by companies.
This conference will host three companies, who have received awards for their good practice in this field on both continents. This discussion will be an opportunity to identify how can companies implement SDGs and contribute to their achievement.
