Linked with the exhibition “Manufacture: a labour of love” at the Gare Saint Sauveur (Lille Metropole 2020, World Capital) the curator Lidewij Edelkoort will discuss the experiments of a new generation of actors around materials and manufacturing process with Elisabeth Laville, founder of Utopies.
Her aim is to consider that if we don’t decide to reinvent our way of producing, we will be lost. A new connection between man, machine and manufacturing process is possible. New remarkable objects and materials that prepare us for a desirable future need to be created together.
