The principal aim of this session is to assess the huge impact of the combination of the internet revolution, artificial intelligence and innovative technologies on business and on society at large, and more particularly on the labor market.

During the preceding industrial revolution, creative destruction (Schumpeter’s term) was ultimately compensated by the creation of new jobs with a higher level of productivity. The upcoming disruption seems much more radical.

However, we absolutely must anticipate how value will be created in companies and how employment and the distribution of wealth will evolve.
