Speaker Loïc FEL

Loïc Fel holds a Ph.D.from the Institute of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). The aim of his research in epistemology of science is to define the changes in the perception and the aesthetics of nature induced by the development of scientific ecology. Summarized in Green Aesthetics (Champs Vallon, 2009) this research is still regularly published in collective works.

Convinced that philosophy cannot be summarized in research, it is through the implementation of sustainable development practices in business that he puts his beliefs to the test. Chief Sustainability Officer at BETC's since 2008, I have been able to deploy an internal programme (-30% in CO2 emissions in 4 years + a biodiversity programme Great Place to Work), but also work on eco-design and social responsibility during the production of advertisements (carbon footprint, implementation of alternative technologies), as well as to design an offer for advertisers, "sustainable brand program" (Veolia Environnement, Mondelez International, Danone, Air France-KLM etc.).

Cofounder of COAL - COALition for art and sustainable development since 2008 - he participates in the Committee of the Domaine de Chamarande whose aim is to include ecology into arts and to organize conferences for the FIAC at the National Museum of Natural History.
