Biography

After a doctorate in microbiology on the production of proteins from unicellular organisms through solid-state fermentation obtained at the INRA in Dijon in 1986, Denis CHEREAU participated in the creation of the Lyven SA company, specialized in the production and marketing of enzymes obtained by solid-state fermentation. He then worked in the starch industry as a technical director and plant manager in France and the United States. He is currently Managing Director of IMPROVE SAS, an R&D center devoted to the valorization of proteins of the future and employing 22 people in Amiens.
