Speaker Philippe RAPENEAU

Biography

Born in Calais in 1958 and initially a teacher, Philippe Rapeneau was successively parliamentary assistant, technical advisor to Philippe Vasseur at the Ministry of Agriculture and deputy mayor of Arras. In 1998, he was elected as regional councillor for the Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

President of the Urban Community of Arras since October 2011, he was appointed in 2016 vice-president of the Regional Council Hauts de France in charge of energy and the third industrial revolution.
