"As a family business with its roots in the land, McCain has been committed to farmers and the environment for decades. Being the world's leading producer of potato-based food products is a great pride that we take with responsibility, sincerity and authenticity.

The health crisis, which is affecting us all, proves how relevant the theme of this new edition of the World Forum is. McCain recognises more than ever the need to accelerate its efforts to build a sustainable future. Thus, despite the economic and social uncertainties into which COVID has plunged our societies, McCain stays focus by publishing its Global CSR Report for the first time, and affirms its convictions by adapting a new corporate mission that proclaims our commitment to sustainability: "Celebrating real connections through delicious planet-friendly food".

 

McCain is a Canadian, independent, family-owned company founded on the cultivation of potatoes. It was created in 1957 by the McCain brothers. Today it has more than 22,000 employees and operates in 51 plants around the world.

In France, McCain has three manufacturing plants and collaborates with nearly 950 partner producers. Its success has been built around a simple principle: "good ethics is good business". This philosophy, which was espoused by its founders, is now at the heart of the company's global CSR strategy "Be Good. Do Good".

If the period is uncertain, our values remain unchanged: Family, Authenticity, Quality and Trust.

Since the beginning of the crisis, our number 1 priority has been the safety of our employees, their families, the communities around us and our consumers.

Our commitment to sustainable development are the same and we are convinced that they will be even more important in the emerging post-COVID-19 world:
