Get the support of the employees for company's sustainable development strategy by integrating CSR criteria in remuneration schedules

A CSR approach can only be seen as credible if the company successfully involves all its staff. To strengthen sustainable development policy and motivate the workforce to pursue policy goals as a matter of course, some companies have opted to integrate CSR criteria into the variable remuneration packages offered directors and managers. Implementing such a reward system however is bound to raise concerns.
