Increasing the impact of social innovation

The challenge for companies here is to implement on a large scale the set of solutions that efficiently address the problem of inequalities.
Participants include:


Freddie Tinga - Inventor of Manila's electric van, a sustainable solution addressing the problems of air pollution, comfort and mobility safety facing users, as well as the social integration challenge confronting drivers of the city's current traditional fleet of jeepneys.


Letizia Moratti - Co-founder of Europe's largest detoxification and rehabilitation center: San Patrignano. Every year, 2,000 live-in patients benefit from the center's 4-year social reintegration program, which posts an outstanding 72% success ratio.


Dirk Lenhoff - Spokesperson for the 5.4 million employees of Europe's 160,000 cooperatives, Dirk is a believer in the cooperative model for enhancing the impact of social innovations.
