Speaker Ramon ARRATIA

Ramon Arratia is European Sustainability Director at Interface, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial carpet tiles and a company widely recognised as an environmental pioneer.

At Interface, Ramon is focussed on continuing the development of the company's sustainability goal Mission Zero, to eliminate any negative impact it may have on the environment by 2020. He is also charged with reviewing offerings and business processes to ensure that they are as sustainable as possible.

In 2013, Ramon published his first book ‘Full Product Transparency: Cutting the fluff out of sustainability'; in which he argues that in order to create successful change, it is vital companies fully understand the environmental impact of a product throughout its life.

He is a strong advocate of product sustainability through his popular blog and regular speaker appearances, and he actively campaigns for stronger and more efficient regulation based on product standards and for revisiting corporate sustainability reporting.
