Speaker Asaad Al-Saad

Since joining PIC in 2013, Mr. Al-Saad has been committed to building a growing and sustainable global company. In his first year as CEO, he became a signatory of the UN Global Compact and launched the 2017 PIC Sustainability Goals. In December 2014, Mr. Al-Saad was named by Refining and Petrochemicals magazine as one of the top 20 most influential personalities in the petrochemical industry in the Middle East. During his tenure, Mr. Al-Saad has overseen growth opportunities for PIC through strategic joint ventures around the world, and through collaborations within Kuwait. Currently, PIC is exploring projects in India, the United States, China, South Korea and Bahrain. Mr. Al-Saad has said: “Our sustainability commitment extends beyond our facilities. It is fundamental to everything we do in our business and in the wider world.”
